Who Is Eligible To Receive Support From Our Patient Advocate?
The Patient Advocacy Program of the Olivia Caldwell Foundation has been designed to connect Wyoming families with resources they need to help them throughout their child's medical journey regardless of their child's diagnosis, family income level, etc.
This program is designed to help you with the needs of your entire family so you can focus your energy on caring for your child. We can help connect you with programs that assist with medical travel, household bills, rent assistance, childcare, insurance, medical equipment, home care, and more. Plus, we can also help you with some of the harder areas of life, such as counseling services, addiction assistance, grief care, IEPs and 504 plans, and nearly anything else. |
You can be referred to our Patient Advocate through a medical provider, another community resource or nonprofit, OR you can also call her at any time to get support on your own! You can reach out to Katelin using the information below OR by filling out the contact form on our website:

Meet ColterKatelin Gitthens, our Patient Advocate, worked with Colter and his family to help connect them to many local resources to assist with counseling, therapies and an adaptive wagon to help little Colter who has a difficult time regulating his body temperature because of a genetic disorder.
"Jen and I have been working together to find an appropriate wagon for her son, Colter, for several months. The challenges of the pandemic had extended even into finding wagons and backorders were going to make it impossible to find one before summer ended. |
This would have been very difficult for Colter as he struggles to regulate his body temperature. With the already sweltering beginning of summer, we were all more concerned about finding a wagon that would fit Colter and help keep him cool.
Thanks to the Orr's Hope Foundation, we were able to provide them a wagon! And it was a great joy for Shannon and I to be able to present it in person to Jen and her husband Aaron."
