Shelby & Eric Chamberlain
My name is Shelby and my husbands name is Eric.
We are both 36 years old we are originally from California (about an hour or so away from each other) but decided to relocate to Casper to be close to family that we have in Glenrock and Douglas. We met on the Tinder dating app back in June of 2018 we welcomed our sweet baby boy Owen on Valentine’s Day 2019. We then welcomed our precious baby girl Olivia October 2021. We’ve always said that we have done everything backwards lol! Because we then got married In April of 2022. Eric is the fun loving life of the party type of guy I adore that about him. He has accomplished so many admirable things in his life thus far such as serving his country in the United States Coast Guard, graduating college with his bachelors, then serving his community as a police officer. He’s passionate about public service and safety. He’s an awesome daddy to our beautiful children and a wonderful husband to me. |
I’m the chameleon of our relationship and I can adapt to whatever life throws at me and I get along with just about anyone. I grew up in a military family we moved so many times I lost count! I grew up playing soccer and eventually earned a scholarship to play in college. I originally went to college to be a sports medicine doctor but graduated being a medical massage therapist. My dream is to continue to pursue a career in the sports medicine field.
I’m so blessed that life brought Eric and I together. Though our relationship is far from perfect and we have to work harder than most I wouldn’t want to do this life with anyone else!
Especially now that I have cancer myself. I’ve been battling stage 3 breast cancer since May 8th of 2023. I had a double mastectomy right before thanksgiving but I still have some fighting to do since it has spread to my lymph nodes.
Eric and I are a true testament of how to overcome obstacles.. it may be ugly in the fight but we always come out stronger than before.
Children fighting cancer and other diseases has always been important to both Eric and I. We both love to volunteer our time and finances to support our local charities and we are always seeking ways to be more involved. Life is hard enough as a child it isn’t fair that children have to fight to live. We are passionate about the cure and long for the day that children don’t have to suffer from cancer and other diseases.. that they can rest assured that there is a cure and they don’t have to live in fear!
Thank you to the Olivia Caldwell Foundation for all that you do to make changes and advances for these children and their families! There’s NOTHING like having a solid support system to lean on when things get hard!
You are loved, you are appreciated, you are seen, your are heart, you are respected, you are admired, you are needed!
Our community is better because of you! Thank you for events such as this to bring us together! We look forward to spending the night with you at prom! See you all soon!
