What We Fund
The Olivia Caldwell Foundation believes that our children are our future. It is because of this deeply held belief that we fund research and programs that focus on improving the lives of children who are battling cancer and other serious diseases in Wyoming and throughout the rest of the world.
We also provide funding for programs that focus on whole family support because we know it isn't just the child who is sick that struggles. Our Patient Advocacy and Mental Health Support Programs are designed to help the entire family be as strong as possible during this difficult time. |
PEDIATRIC CANCER RESEARCH
Our top funding priority is research aimed at finding the cure for pediatric cancer. We provide funding for start up research projects to begin. This enables our research team to work off of a hunch to pursue new ideas and better treatment options for pediatric cancer. CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE RESEARCH WE FUND |
IMPROVING ACCESS TO PEDIATRIC SPECIALTY CARE IN WYOMING
Wyoming is a unique state as we do not have the population to support a pediatric hospital. This means that children who are diagnosed with a chronic or complicated medical condition are required to travel out of state to receive specialty care. We now fund a Pediatric Specialty Outreach Clinic in Casper, WY that brings specialists from Children's Hospital Colorado to our state to see patients for a variety of specialities. MORE SUPPORT FOR FAMILIES WITH CHRONICALLY ILL CHILDREN
The Olivia Caldwell Foundation believes in supporting the entire family throughout a child's medical and/or mental health challenge. We are committed to providing this support on multiple levels by utilizing the expertise of our Patient Advocate to best meet the needs of everyone involved in the child's life and care.
